Europe Direct Thurles: Poster Competition for 2^nd Level Students in Laois, Limerick, Offaly & Tipperary

In September 2010 the European Commission launched a new initiative called ‘Youth on the Move’. We want you to design a poster to promote the website for this new initiative to young Europeans.
There are amazing prizes to be won! 1^st Prize: A digital camera and the winning poster will be printed and sent to schools and third level institutions in the region. / 2^nd Prize: €200 / 3^rd Prize: €100
Young people have been hit particularly hard by the recent social and economic crisis. Youth on the Move aims to increase their chances of finding a job by enhancing student and trainee mobility and improving the quality and attractiveness of education and training in Europe. Youth on the Move is part of Europe 2020, the EU's plan for how Europe will emerge from the social and economic crisis.
Androulla Vassiliou, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, says that “Young people face the ongoing challenges of a labour market for which high and up-to-date skills, adaptability and mobility will be the keys to success.”
