Event Description

As part of Children’s Book Festival Alva O’Dea will give a bilingual book reading for children in Malahide Library at 10am and 11.30am.

Irish Author Alva is home from Germany to read and sing from her bilingual children’s book‚ Mama Amelie und das Welpenchaos/ Mama Amelie and the Puppy Chaos. Children of all ages can follow the illustrations on the screen while listening to the funny rhymed story in German and English.

Mama Amelie and the Puppy Chaos
Ten new puppies turn the life of their single Mum upside down. Luckily her neighbours Grandpa Hare and the cool donkey Eddy can lend a helping hand!
Perfect for reading to Preschool and Kindergarten children and also for schoolchildren who are starting to read themselves. The special attraction of original rhymes in German and English will help them learn while exploring both languages in a fun way. Children will love the adorable colour illustrations.
