The regional final of the annual Europe Direct Information Centre soapbox competition will take place in Blanchardstown Library on Monday 10th October @ 6.30pm. MEP Lynn Boylan will chair the competition.

The theme this year is “The EU – United in Diversity” and is open to entrants who are 18 years or under or those who are 19 years and over. Winners in both categories will receive an iPAD sponsored by the EU Commission with runner up prizes sponsored by Europe Direct Information Centre in Blanchardstown.

As capacity is limited there is a limit of 25 entrants for both age categories. Therefore this will be on a first come, first served basis i.e. the first 25 people to send in a completed application form will be accepted for the competition.
