Event: Cracking the College Code” An information talk  for early school leavers and mature students going to college.  This will be presented by Catherine O’ Connor: 

Thinking about going to college can be daunting for early schools leavers and mature adults who have been away from study for some time.  This can be further compounded by the fact that college mainly caters for young adults who have just left school.  If you are a mature student thinking going to college, many challenges will present but try to value all that you will bring with you and look on how you can work with and learn from others regardless of age or life experience.

Catherine O’Connor, Education Consultant and Author of Cracking the College Code (A practical guide to making the most of the first year college experience)  has over twenty years’ experience in the design, delivery and management of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Dublin City University and at Trinity College Dublin.
