Event Description

An Insight…….

To mark the European Year for Development 2015 Dundalk EDIC will host the below on Thursday 29th October @ 3pm

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to “See the world differently” through the eyes of Tanzanian and Irish participants who took part in Louth based Development Perspectives, 8 month annual “Insight programme”. The Insight programme gives Irish adults an opportunity to live, learn and work in a Tanzanian community whilst exploring some of the root causes of poverty and inequality that exist in our world. Tanzanian participants have an opportunity to return to Ireland to piece together a shared exhibition of experience. Enjoy their journey with a colourful documentary produced by Blaine Rennicks as well as a Theatre of The Oppressed performance facilitated by Idan Meir. Insight 2015 is one of 16 projects across Europe, which has been supported by the Civil Society Alliance as part of their “European Year for Development 2015” calendar of events. The European Year for Development highlights the important contribution citizens can make in making our world a fairer, more just and sustainable place to live.
