2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the European single market. DG MARKT has launched a web based campaign called Generation 1992 ( in order to close the gap with the youth, put them back at the heart of the single market and gain their trust. “Generation 1992” will address the youth born in 1992 from all member States,challenge their opinions and thoughts and then through their creative contributions in an on-line contest address the society as a whole.

A CREATIVE SUMMER CAMP will be organised in Barcelona from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th of July. If anyone is interested in applying, all they have to do is answer a few questions in the following link:

This summer camp is an opportunity for young people to express their vision and opinions of Europe in different creative formats (text, photo, video, cartoon or Smartphone app) and have the opportunity to meet creative professionals, inspiring young artists and entrepreneurs, while spend a few days in one of Europe’s most exciting cities.

They will be selecting around 30 people born in 1992 from as many EU countries as possible. All their travel and accommodation expenses will be covered. The Registration form will be online until the 8th of July.
