Irish people third highest users of peer-to-peer transport and accommodation services

Over one in five Irish people (21%) have used online peer-to-peer accommodation services such as Airbnb this year, third highest in the EU where the average is 17%. People in the UK were the most likely to have used these services at 34% while those in the Czech Republic were least likely at 1%. The Eurostat figures show that Irish people were also third most likely at 17% to have used transport services such as Uber, over double the EU average of 8%. People in the UK were in top place at 27%.
